About the MHS digital archive
The MHS Digital Archive provides access to digital items and digitized audio-visual items in MHS collections. Users can also access digital items/collections through links in MHS Collection Guides or ABIGAIL (MHS’s library catalog).
What is in the MHS Digital Archive?
- Digital items (objects that originated as a digital file such as an email or Microsoft Word document)
- Audio-visual items (digital audio/video and physical audio/video that has been converted to digital format such as a digital recording of a vinyl record).
What is NOT in the MHS Digital Archive?
- Digitized items/collections (a digital representation of a physical object such as an image of a painting)
- Users can access digitized items and collections through the MHS Collection Guides, ABIGAIL (MHS’s library catalog), or through the MHS Digital Collections page.
- Physical items/collections
- MHS’s physical collections can be accessed through MHS Collection Guides and ABIGAIL (MHS’s library catalog).
